This policy explains how Taybat collects and uses information when people visit the marketing site, create accounts, save addresses, contact support, register as sellers, or apply to drive on the platform.

Last updated: April 10, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Taybat platform, including the public marketing website, account onboarding flows, and the customer, seller, driver, and admin experiences supported by this backend.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Taybat, we may collect:

  • Account information such as your name, phone number, email address, birthdate, and role on the platform.
  • Authentication data, including OTP request records and verification status used to sign in and secure accounts.
  • Profile information for sellers and drivers, including restaurant registration records, vehicle details, and onboarding preferences.
  • Verification documents supplied by drivers, such as driving licence, ID, address, bank, health insurance, and other supporting documents.
  • Saved address information, including labels, street details, country or city references, and latitude/longitude coordinates for pickups and drop-offs.
  • Operational driver data, including online status and latest known driver location used for dispatching, tracking, and support.
  • Contact form submissions, including your name, email, phone number, subject, message, submission time, and IP address.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to operate the platform, verify users, enable deliveries and rides, maintain saved addresses, review driver applications, respond to inquiries, prevent abuse, and improve reliability, support, and security across Taybat services.

4. Role-Specific Processing

Customer information is used to manage profiles and delivery-related addresses. Seller information is used to support onboarding and restaurant compliance records. Driver information is used to manage verification status, service eligibility, live availability, and location-aware order workflows.

5. Sharing

We may share information internally with authorized Taybat staff and administrators who need it to operate the platform. We may also share data with service providers that help us run infrastructure, messaging, support, payments, or compliance processes. We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain required business records, investigate fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal or compliance obligations. Verification records and contact submissions may be retained after an account is inactive when reasonably necessary for those purposes.

7. Security

Taybat uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account and operational data. No system is completely secure, so users should also protect their devices, OTP codes, and account access credentials.

8. Your Choices

You may request updates to your account details and profile information through available product features or by contacting Taybat. If you believe information is inaccurate or no longer necessary, you may ask for correction or deletion, subject to legal, operational, fraud-prevention, and recordkeeping requirements.

9. Children

Taybat is not intended for children who are not legally allowed to use the services offered on the platform. If we learn that personal information was collected inappropriately, we may remove it or restrict the associated account.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date shown above.
